I was so sad when I discovered that my moka to make coffee is not working in our IH (Induction hob) kitchen. Induction kitchens don’t work with gas or electricity, which makes them safe, and easy to keep clean. However they work only with some specific surfaces, and alluminium moka is not among those unfortunately.
So the only way to drink an espresso is going to Lavazza, Illy or Pascucci cafe .. But what if I have guests? I hate having Italian friends coming all over from Italy and in the morning not being able to offer a basic espresso cup.
Of course we are in Japan, so they understand without any problem, but I just would like to make them feel home and we all know how important is espresso in the morning for some people!
I recently found out that there is a solution to all this and I might buy it soon.
This steel plan is an adaptor for IH, expressly made for moka, how adorable!
I have no affiliate links or whatsoever, I just wanted to share this useful tip with all interested people.
Did you know already ? How do you manage to drink your coffee?
