The company started out as making raincoats to protect from rain and winds of North Italy. In the 1980’s they were manufacturing outerwear for big brands such as Prada, Gucci, Armani, Louis Vuitton. Eventually they decided to focus on their brand, specialising with down material.
Its first international boutique was actually in Japan; it was opened in Osaka in 1971.
Materials used are innovative and the style is timeless with clean lines and neutral colours. All that commitment to quality means Herno coats are highly water and wind-resistant, durable, and very very warm.
